JUDY L. SCHMIDT
MD, FACP

I am a triple board certified Hematology/Oncologist/Internist and completed my Hematology and Medical Oncology medical training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. I am now a full time cancer care client consultant advocate and medical expert.

20+ Years of Experience with:

Quality Cancer Care has always been my passion. I testified for the Medical Oncology physician community in Washington DC in 1999 at the request of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) at a Senate subcommittee on Quality Cancer Care specifically addressing Quality Cancer Care delivery in rural settings. The Honorable Senators Diane Feinstein and Connie Mack presided.

Due to this successful testimony, ASCO asked me to be a member of the ASCO Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) participating in the development of the Quality Cancer Care standard measures of oncology practice. More than 700 Medical Oncology practices in the United States now measure their Oncology practice Quality via QOPI standards that we helped develop.

I have been a practising medical oncologist for over 25 years. I have participated in medical-legal cases as a medical expert since 2001. I am also available for medical File Review.
